About

The College takes pride in having a Central Library housed in ground floor with a built up area of 583.15 Sq.mts. The Library has more than 45000 books and subscribes to 150 journals which include national and international journals and magazines. All the back issues of journals, project reports, Question Bank & Non-book materials etc. are bound and kept for ready reference. There is a separate reading section for all students. All departments have their own library to cater to the instant reference needs of faculty members and students. The Library has been computerized and library software is available and it is well maintained and updated regularly.

Library is a Heart of the Institution. The library is providing the information to the right user to the right document at the right time. The library contributes directly to the institution’s academic mission and to equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to achieve academically and to maximize their employability β€” i.e. Library is a growing organism.

Rules & Procedures

  • Every member must login digitally by using the Identity Card to enter the library.
  • Strict silence and discipline should be maintained in the Library.
  • Books will be issued and renewed for students and faculty only if present in person.
  • Books must be returned on or before the due date; fines apply otherwise.
  • Verify the condition of books before borrowing.
  • Books should be protected from rain, insect, etc.
  • If the due date is a holiday, books may be returned on the next working day.
  • Lost books must be paid for along with any applicable fines.
  • Receipts must be collected for fines paid.

General Instructions

  • Eatables/bags/personal books are not allowed inside; use the belongings counter.
  • Register borrowed books clearly and correctly at the circulation section.
  • Read newspapers and periodicals only in the Reading Section.
  • Maintain silence inside the library.
  • Switch off fans/lights when not in use or when leaving.
  • Keep the library neat and clean.
  • Do not disturb furniture arrangements.
  • Outsiders need permission to enter.
  • Do not damage or deface materials; fines apply if found guilty.
  • Mobile phone use is strictly prohibited in the library.
