Eligibility

As per the norms of Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), 65% of the seats are admitted under Single Window Counselling and the remaining 35% under the Management quota based on merit.

Applicants should possess the following minimum-essential qualifications:

• Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus one of Chemistry/Biology/Technical vocational subject.
• Diploma holders from AICTE-approved institutions are eligible for lateral entry into the second year.
• B.Sc. graduates from UGC-recognized institutions are also eligible for lateral entry into the second year.

Documents Required at Admission

• Provisional allotment order – TNEA (color printout)
• 10th, 11th, and 12th mark sheets
• Transfer certificate and conduct certificate
• Permanent community certificate for BC/BCM/MBC/DNC/SC/SCA/ST candidates
• Income certificate (for post-matric scholarship – SC/SCA/ST and converted Christians)
• Four passport-size photographs
• Copy of Aadhaar card

Additional Documents for First Graduate Students

• First Graduate Certificate (at least 7 family members listed) and Joint Declaration
• If a sibling is pursuing a degree, a Bonafide Certificate confirming no fee concession availed

Fee Refund Policy

(As per UGC Circular No. F.2-71/2022 (CPP-II), dated 12th June 2024)

Nelliandavar Institute of Technology follows the UGC directives on fee refund and cancellation:

• Full refund (up to ₹1,000 processing fee) for cancellations up to 31st October.
• Post-October refunds follow the October 2018 UGC Notification.

This policy applies to all future sessions unless revised. The institute ensures compliance with UGC norms and redresses student grievances per UGC Regulations, 2023.
